Gwen Southgate, author of Coin Street Chronicles: London's Vanished Old South Bank Area, will discuss her book about life growing up in London during the 1930s and 1940s. Ms. Southgate’s talk will focus on life in an impoverished area of the city and her experiences as an evacuee of the city during World War II.
