NJ Central – Princeton Chapter of the Red Cross recommends the following websites for those who would like to offer housing to the Hurricane Katrina victims:

These are the only three sites that have been approved by the Red Cross. At this time the Red Cross is not taking “phone” housing registration, only via these sites.

Mercer County Library Offers Library Access to Displaced Victims of Hurricane Katrina

Mercer County Library is now offering borrower's cards for displaced victims of Hurricane Katrina who are living with families residing in our borrowing area.

To obtain a card, an applicant must supply proof of residency in the following forms:

Sponsorship letter from an agency or organization showing the local relocation address.
If an applicant does not have documentation, an adult member of the sponsoring family must be present with his/her proper ID.
