Many of our electronic databases are available outside of the library. All you need to access them is your library card number which is found on the back of your library card. 

1. Go to our library home page at www.mcl.org

2. In the green menu on the left click on the link for Electronic Resources
3. Click on From Home or Office
4. Choose your database
5. Type in your library card number when asked for Patron ID.

Here are the databases available from home.

Reference USA is available from home through Jersey Clicks. Go to www.jerseyclicks.org and click on the Reference USA link. You will need to enter your library card number to use the database.

If you click on the EBSCOhost link you will get a new menu of links for EBSCOhost Web, Novelist, MagillOnLiterature, Searchasaurus, Student Research Center, Kids Search, and EBSCOhost in Espanol, Francais, and Deutsch.

Click on EBSCOhost Web for access to the following:

• *MasterFILE Premier - thousands of journal and magazine articles, many of which are full text
• Newspaper Source - selected full-text news and TV and radio transcripts
• Business Source Premier
• Academic Search Premier
• Health Source: Consumer Edition
• Health Source: Nursing/Academic Edition
  MagillOnLiterature - plot summaries and critical analyses
• TOPICsearch - articles on current events and popular topics
• MAS Online - general interest magazines
• ERIC - Educational Resource Information Center
• Primary Search - magazines for elementary research
• Middle Search Plus - magazines for middle and jr. high 
  school research
• EBSCO Animals 
• Regional Business News
• Clinical Pharmacology - drug monographs 
• Funk & Wagnalls New World Encyclopedia
• Library, Information Science and Technology Abstracts
