Twin Rivers Branch The Twin Rivers Branch was founded in 1973 in a storefront. It has grown considerably and continues to grow along with the community we serve. We offer a wide variety of popular and classical books and other materials including over 900 DVDs, 1000 Music CDs and 1000 Audio books, and our collection grows every day. We strive to provide materials and services that satisfy the educational, informational, recreational and cultural needs of our diverse community and to encourage a lifelong interest in reading. We currently have 9 public PCs that provide Microsoft office suite and free internet access. Free wireless service is also available on premises. The library hosts a variety of programs for children and adults. Book play, Baby time, Music room, Kids craft directed by our Youth Services Librarian, Nancy Demme, are very popular. Two bilingual story times (English/Spanish and English/Hindi) offer a chance for children to be introduced to different languages at an early age. Our adult programs include a lively book discussion group, ESL tutoring, a Writer’s Group and one-on-one computer instruction. There is Something for Everyone at the Twin Rivers Branch. We invite you to stop in to use our services and meet our friendly, knowledgeable staff!
