This month Joel May will present “A Trip through the Library of Congress”. Hopewell Seniors Connect meets the first Tuesday of every month to learn more about using the World Wide Web.

Princeton HealthCare System will make sure your child’s car seat is correctly installed. Bring the manual for your seat if possible.

Unergi
Tuesday, October 14 from 7-8:30 pm
Ute Arnold will talk about Unergi Body-Psychotherapy which she has developed as a Holistic Therapy by integrating touch with the Alexander Technique, talk in the form of Gestalt Therapy, movement based on the Feldenkrais Technique and creativity with the Healing Forces of Nature. Historic Haunts

Garrett Husveth, co-author of Ghosts of Central New Jersey, and the co-founder of Haunted New Jersey, will discuss historical events as they relate to reports of paranormal experiences. New Jersey Writers’ Society
Tuesday, October 28 from 6 to 8:30 pm (meets every 4th Tuesday)
All are welcome to come and enjoy the challenges of becoming better writers, defeating writer’s block and perfecting the craft. No registration necessary.

Story Times in the Children’s Activity Room
There is no registration for these programs.
Siblings are welcome at all programs

Kids' Craft Time (all ages welcome):
Mondays from 4:00-5:30 p.m. October 6, 20, and 27
Children may stop at the children’s activity room at any point between 4 and 5:30 to construct the craft of the week. A staff member will be present to aid with the craft. The projects can usually be easily adapted to meet a variety of age and skill levels. Parental supervision is not necessary.

Story Time (recommended ages 2-5 years):
Tuesdays at 11:00 a.m.: October 7, 14, and 21
Thursdays at 11:00 a.m.: October 2, 9, 16, and 23
There will be no story time October 28 or 30.
These story times introduce children to the best age appropriate stories in children’s literature. Action rhymes, songs, and felt board activities are part of the program. The content of each story time centers on a different theme. An age appropriate craft follows story time. Each program runs about 30 minutes. Tuesday’s and Thursday’s story time are the same. Parental supervision is not required, but is recommended.

Baby Time (recommended age 6-24 months)
Wednesdays at 11:00 a.m.: October 1, 8, 15, 22, and 29
This program is a great way to introduce your child to library story times and reading. Age appropriate books are shared with the group. Songs, nursery rhymes, puppets, and felt board figures create a rich audio-visual and social experience. After 20 minute of structured group time, there is time for play and for parents to chat.

Pat McKinley's Toddler Tunes (recommended for children 0-5 years):
Friday, October 17 at 10:30 a.m.
Sing and dance along to classic children’s songs played on live guitar! Parental supervision is not required, but is recommended.

Special Programs

Spooky Stories
Thursday, October 9 at 3:00 p.m.
Prepare to be spooked at this after school story time including a scary story, a ghoulish game, and a creepy craft. This program is recommended for ages 5 to 7 years.

Family Movie
Friday, October 24 at 3:00 p.m.
The Nightmare Before Christmas
Enjoy this classic Tim Burton film on our big screen! Popcorn and juice provided.

Halloween Baby Time!
Wednesday, October 29 at 11:00 a.m.
Join us for Halloween stories, songs, and rhymes just for you and your baby. This is a great chance to show off those cute baby costumes! Geared for children 0 to 2 years

Halloween Party!
Friday, October 31 at 11:00 a.m.
Halloween stories, games, crafts, and a parade!
