Fall is Here!
Welcome to the
Hopewell Branch of the Mercer County Library System!
My name is Andrea Merrick,
Branch Manager at the Hopewell Branch Library. Let me
introduce you to the Branch staff - Hope, Diane, Donna,
Eileen, Jewell, Judy and Robin are all ready to assist you
at the Circulation Desk. At the Reference Desk, you will be
helped by Karen, Anna, John or our Youth Services
Librarians, Emily and Gabrielle.
Here are some quick facts
about the Hopewell Branch and our services:
There are over 49,500 adult
and children’s print items available for circulation.
Patrons visited the Branch
127,616 times in 2008 and 171,495 items were circulated.
Please take advantage of our
exciting variety of adult and children’s programming –
schedules may be found at the Branch, online at
www.mcl.org and in the
Hopewell Valley News. In 2008, the Branch offered 199 adult
programs and 301 children’s programs. To register for
programming, please call 609-737-2610.
We have over 3,300 DVDs for
adults and children.
We are always adding to our
large audiobook collection for adults and children - over
1,000 books-on-CD, over 100 read-alongs, and over 150
Playaways. A Playaway is a pre-loaded digital audio player.
Our diverse music collection
is always growing - now we have over 1,800 CDs.
You can take a free,
one-on-one computer class at the Branch - just talk to
Karen! Karen can tailor a class to fit your needs – nothing
is too basic.
We are always happy to hear your suggestions – please feel
free to email me at
amerrick@mcl.org or fill out a comment form. If you
would like us to consider purchasing a title, you may either
tell us directly or use the Library System’s “Suggestions
for Purchase” form -
http://webserver.mcl.org/suggestion/jmailform.asp.
Hope to see you soon and
often!
If you
would like to put your collectibles, etc. in our display
case, please contact Jewell Latham at 609-737-2610 between
1-9pm, Monday or Tuesday.
