Thursday Evening at the Movies Series for ages 18 and up, July 10, 17, 24, and 31 at 6:30 p.m.
No admission fee. Limited seating. Light refreshments. Open to the public. Sponsored by the Friends of the Library.

Summer Reading Program Begins June 30!

Storytime Programs for Children

  1. Drop-in storytime for children, ages 2-5, with adult, Wednesdays at 1 p.m.

  2. Afternoon storytime for school-age children, grades K-5, Wednesdays at 4:30 p.m. Snacks, stories and surprise crafts!

  3. Mother Goose storytime for children, ages infants-18 months, with adult, Thursdays at 10:30 a.m. Learn nursery rhymes and fingerplays.

  4. Preschool storytime for children (without parent or caregiver), ages 4-5, Fridays at 11 a.m. The focus of this program is to decrease separation anxiety and encourage reading readiness in preparation for kindergarten. Parent or caregiver must remain in the library.

Activity Programs for Children

  1. Happy Two’s activity time for children, age 2 years, with adult, Mondays at 11 a.m. Learn songs and rhymes!

  2. Messy Play craft activity for children, ages 2-3, with adult, Mondays at 2 p.m. Have fun painting and making crafts!

  3. Cat, Hat, Sat rhyming words activity time for children, ages 3-4, with adult, Wednesdays at 10 a.m. Play rhyming games!

  4. Playgroup activity for children, ages birth-5 years, with adult, Thursdays at 1 p.m. Play with toys and enjoy music!

  5. New!!Walk-in craft for school age children, K-5, Tuesday afternoons at 3 p.m. One hour of craft fun! No registration required!

Special Programming for Children

  1. Summer Reading Program, “Catch the Reading Bug @ Your Library” for children, ages 2-10 and “Metamorphosis @ Your Library" for teens 11-17.

  2. Teen craft, July 2nd at 6:30 p.m. Sponsored by the Friends of the Library.

  3. Chess for children, grades 2 and up, July 10th, 17th, 24th, 31st at 4 p.m.

  4. Car Seat Check with Princeton Health Care System, July 10th at 10 a.m. in the library’s parking lot.

  5. Movie for Tots, July 11th at 11:30 a.m. Light refreshments! Sponsored by the Friends of the Library.

  6. Butterfly Program, July 16th at 7 p.m. See live butterflies! Sponsored by the friends of the Library.

  7. Sing-A-Long with Pat McKinley for children, ages birth -7, with adult, July 18th at 11:30 p.m.! Sponsored by the Friends of the Library.

  8. Magic show for all ages, July 23rd at 7 p.m. Sponsored by the Friends of the Library.

  9. Folk music with Spook Handy, July 28th at 2 p.m. Sponsored by the Friends of the Library.
